Rambeau, who falls out of Westview limits in Episode 3 is discovered by S.W.O.R.D agents who get one key update from her - “It’s all Wanda!” In a first on the Disney Plus show, she uses her powers to attack and seems to sense she’s out of character as she goes on to rearrange the walls she pushed Geraldine through. We also get an insight into the scene where Wanda chucks Geraldine out after calling her an outsider. But Wanda, with the same power she wields over Westview, changes the scene at once and they're back to cradling their babies Tommy and Billy as they settle back on the couch. This single frame crushed all hopes of the android's return to the MCU. In a brief terrifying moment, Wanda looks up at Vision to find him in the state Thanos left him in after pulling out the Mind Stone. WandaVision's biggest mystery is the existence of Vision who died in Avengers: Infinity War and didn't return in Avengers: Endgame and it's finally getting addressed properly. Speaking of surprising, dead Vision really showed up out of nowhere!Īfter spending most of its run-time showing us what’s happening outside Wanda and Vision’s idyllic world, Episode 4 heads inside the town. Remember when Dottie hurts herself while Wanda curiously hears radio chatter? That was Woo’s concerned voice saying “Wanda, who’s doing this to you?” If you recognized Randall Park’s voice from the very beginning, you’re a genius! These two details came as a surprise. Later in the episode, we see them try and make contact with Wanda through radio waves. Woo joins her on a viewing sesh and they echo the audiences’ range of reactions from the “awws” and the shock as he goes, “So you’re saying the universe created a sitcom starring two Avengers?” WandaVision plays on that idea a bit through these two delightful characters. That person, ladies and gentlemen, is Darcy Lewis. Episodes 1-3 end with Wanda and Vision settling on their couch and an unseen person watching them on a TV screen. Lewis reads a large amount of cosmic radiation from the town barrier and pulls out a physio-scope (Lexington Industries) to study it only to find out she’s looking at the ‘50s episode of WandaVision. When it becomes clear that this is a lot more than a missing town, S.W.O.R.D calls in experts from various fields including Doctor Darcy Lewis (Kat Dennings). Who has been watching Wanda and Vision on a TV set at the end of each episode? And where did that radio chatter come from? Enter: Jimmy Woo and Darcy Lewis Disney Plus As fans predicted, the organization sends an agent through a manhole to fetch Rambeau, the one we saw in episode 2. Their mission came into question judging from Wanda’s reaction to their logo but it turns out, they’re here to help. If you’ve been paying close attention, these developments are hardly surprising, proving most initial fan theories right, but it’s nice to have confirmation on S.W.O.R.D’s motivation. And that’s how she ended up playing Geraldine who was eventually flung out of Westview by Wanda for mentioning Ultron. In her attempts to examine the buried, Rambeau gets pulled into the town. That explains that toy helicopter we see in episode 2. The drone, shaped like a helicopter, disappears into an invisible barrier. Nobody seems to notice apart from Rambeau who is sent there for a mission to chaperone a drone and FBI agent Jimmy Woo (Randall Park makes his anticipated entry after Ant-Man and the Wasp). Monica is given a relatively easy assignment on Earth which turns out, is the mysterious case of the non-existent Westview, you know, the town Wanda and Vision call home. We finally know how Monica Rambeau ends up as Geraldine in Wanda's sitcom world.Īs Rambeau gets back to work, the show confirms some of the obvious fan theories like S.W.O.R.D has been tweaked to stand for Sentient Weapon Observation and Response, it's a sister concern to S.H.I.E.L.D that operates from space. Here are the big reveals and fan-theories today's episode confirmed: Monica seems unaware of this but is soon brought up to speed at the S.W.O.R.D headquarters. We see Monica Rambeau (Tenoyah Parris) struggling to get a grip of reality post-blip when she hears that her mother Maria Rambeau, a founding member of S.W.O.R.D died two years before Monica's disappearance.
